Background
I'm a software engineer who got interested in FIRE (Financial Independence, Retire Early). Once I started learning about taxes, I realized how much money I was leaving on the table.
Things like Roth conversions, HSA investing, and mega backdoor Roth aren't complicated—they're just not well explained anywhere. So I built a calculator that shows exactly how much each strategy saves you.
The code is straightforward. The tax brackets come straight from the IRS. If you find a bug or want to suggest an improvement, reach out.
